Our Last 8 Year Old and Some Other Stuff

We went over to Granny Janny and Papa Butch's house for Memorial Weekend. We got some rain but we got some sun too. Cade was sick which was a total bummer but what better place to be sick at than Grandma and Grandpa's place. Maddy has been wanting to take her friend, Addy, over to Lake Chelan forever. Lucky for her, Addy's family just happened to be over there then too. The boys got lots of cousin time which is always the best.

Ryan and Cade got ambitious one day after school and decided to build us a firepit. They really didn't do that bad of a job. Matt started a fire for them to roast hotdogs but the wood was still green so there was a lot of smoke.

Cade and Maddy thought these might help keep smoke out of their eyes. So lovely.

The big news of June is that Cade finally turned 8! He has waited so long to be able to go to Cub Scouts. I cannot believe he is already 8. Happy birthday, Squid!
